Autumn Winter 2026 Womenswear
Look outside these windows today, and you may see not only the sky and the street, but a heron, a swan, or a parakeet. These small creatures, even in cities as bustling as Paris, London, Tokyo, or Los Angeles, connect us to the cadence of nature if we pay close attention. This season explores the tension between observer and observed. What does it mean to see and to be seen? This question lies at the heart of womanhood.
Considering how garments support the act of looking, we developed utility trousers and hidden-pocket jackets with space for notebooks, pens, and binoculars. Double-layered knits and transformative legging-jumpsuits continue our modular wardrobe, serving our woman through her needs. Tailoring developed from menswear silhouettes strengthens the forms proposed for Autumn, while ideas of utility and function ensure practicality across the collection. Even soft waistcoats in shimmering materials with stitched pockets propose new but usable shapes.
Fitcher’s Bird, tale number 46 from the Brothers Grimm, served as the entry point for an exploration of observation. Further research led us to Cindy Sherman’s 1992 photographic essay of the same name, which informed the collection’s colour story. The depth, richness, and iridescence of feathers drawn from these references shape a series of textiles and surface treatments throughout the garments. Dresses in luminescent and iridescent fabrics shift with the light. Coated cotton appears soaked and shining, whilst needle-punched velvet and an intarsia feather yarn in wool sweaters evoke feather structures and movement. A matelassé coat with shimmering floral motifs and iridescent satins with painted camouflage further reference the majesty of plumage.
Through hand-gathering we create voluminous textural gestures, encouraging our women not only to take up space, but to dynamically move through it, miniskirts fluttering and feet gliding. Sleeve development was central this season. New Dolman sleeves, cape sleeves, and hybrids between balloon and batwing forms extend and gather traditional shapes. Shimmering silks and multifaceted jacquards bring a cornucopia of colour to utility-inspired styles.
Our collaboration with Patcharavipa begins with a photograph of a guillemot egg, whose elongated asymmetrical form grounds the accessories collection. From this reference emerges a series of egg-shaped pendants in 925 sterling silver, presented in two expressions. One features portholes and Patcharavipa’s signature “antre” texture. The other carries an engraved poem by Sylvia Plath: I am not mystical: it is not as if I thought it had a spirit. It is simply in its element. Hand-crafted, pillbox-like pendants, in Thuya and Blackwood complete the group, alongside hanging earrings that frame the neckline and track the movement of the wearer.
A partnership with Oakley introduces feather and wood motifs into eyewear through custom frames fitted with Prizm lenses. On her feet, our woman wears perspex-trimmed pumps with glossy space dyed socks or stretch leather boots. Our ongoing collaboration with ASICS eimagines the tabi for a second time, merging the language of a brogue at the front with the structure of a trail shoe at the back. Across all footwear, we emphasize everyday usability: shoes designed to move fluidly between spaces, between subject and viewer, inhabiting the tension and beauty of the liminal ground they occupy.
