ASICS LYASA FF — Carbon / Pure Silver

The ASICS LYASA FF Tabi continues the four-part Tabi series introduced earlier this Spring. Designed as a slip-on silhouette, it draws on the lightweight principles of the original 1970s ASICS Tabi marathon shoe. Executed in a soft, elastic material with minimal seaming, the style reduces pressure on the foot while emphasizing ease of wear through its modernized Tabi sole.

The shoe is constructed with a rubber and EVA midsole-outsole combination, offering flexibility, grip, and reduced weight. Its sculpted sole merges classic ASICS Tabi texture motifs with track-and-field line work, creating a balance of visual depth and responsive cushioning. The upper is finished with a metallic pattern that curves from top to toe, subtly referencing Herb Lubalin’s late 1980s graphic proposals for the ASICS logo.
