The Medallion Dress uses a play on three dimensionality in its cutting and construction. The cropped dress references the distorted torso shapes found in the work of Christina Ramberg. The bust is framed in a geometric construction and an exaggerated hip is cut into the waisted shape. A custom zipper sits centre back and is bound in a fil’ coupe muslin that sits on the shoulder panels. It is fully lined with main panels in structured cottons and jacquards. It is made in Bulgaria and slim in fit.
